Remember how heavenly it smelled — thick with the glorious scent of sticky cinnamon rolls ... melt-in-your-mouth cakes ... gooey fruit pies
... or warm chewy cookies ... just out of the oven and just waiting for you to sample them?
Remember how it instantly set your mouth to watering and your stomach to growling?
Well, now you can enjoy that just baked goodness again every Wednesday afternoon when you visit the Laurel Downtown Farmer's Market.
Here you'll find an array of home baked goods (from buttery breads to decadent desserts), plus delicious local produce and beautiful handmade crafts.
The Market is located at the Town Square, in the 100 block of First Ave., and runs every Wednesday, starting at 4:00 pm, July 7th through September 29th.
So when you have a minute, stop by the Downtown Farmer's Market. Where every Wednesday is like the sweet old days in Grandma's kitchen.
For Vendors:
The Laurel Downtown Farmer's Market works on the honor system. Simply arrive between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon and check in with Janelle (the gal who sells jewelry). She'll get you signed up and show you where to set up.
There is no booth charge. At the end of market that day, you'll give Janelle 10% of your proceeds, with a minimum of $5.00.
