Laurel's 4th of July Celebration!!!
A day of family, friends and fun.
Laurel entertains over 15,000 people for the 4th of July events. Most come for the parade, gather in Thomson Park, and stay the day, waiting for the fireworks at dusk.
July 3rd
- The JC's run a street dance on 1st street between 2nd & 3rd Ave.
July 4th
- A run down of our events.
A Pancake Breakfast begins at 6:00am and is sponsored by the Laurel JayCees.
At 7:00 am, the Chief Joseph Run begins and ends at about 9:00. Last year we had 350 runners.
The Kiddies Parade begins at 10:00.
The Grand Parade is at 11:00 am. Thousands line the streets and view the parade.
The Food and Craft Fair begins at 10:00am and ends at 9:00 pm so people can shop and purchase food all day long.
Activities and Entertainment are planned for throughout the day, including live music.
The Fireworks begin as soon as it is dark. Laurel has the largest fireworks display in Montana.
