LEADERSHIP LAUREL
What can I expect the program to look like?
Leadership Laurel program is put on by the Chamber to provide business men and women away to expand their capabilities and help develop their workforce skills. Leadership Laurel is a eight (8) month program designed for participants to learn about the Laurel Community. The program will consist of a kick-off, seven program days, a community service work day, and a graduation celebration. Attendance at the kick-off retreat is mandatory. Participants are highly encouraged to attend all other classes as well. Participants must attend a minimum of six sessions to graduate. Tuition is $400/person for Chamber members, $600/person for non-members. Tuition helps offset the cost of meals, speaker expenses, administrative fees, and supplies necessary to run the program. Participants are encouraged to ask their employer to sponsor their tuition fees in return for the skills and knowledge they will bring back to the workplace. (If your registration arrives after the class maximum is reached, it will be returned to you.)
By the end of the program you will…
*Recognize your personal leadership strengths and how to use them effectively
*Learn how to use your personal influence to inspire and develop collaborative relationships
*Gain insight into Laurel and Yellowstone County’s economy
* Explore the history of Laurel
* Interact with business, government, and educational leaders

* Learn more about pressing issues in the Laurel community
*Be ready to assume new responsibilities and leadership roles in your organization and in your community
