BRING BACK THE LIGHTS FOR 2024

The Laurel Chamber of Commerce, with the help of the area businesses, have hung up the Christmas street pole decorations in the business district for over 40 years. The Chamber board members as well as business volunteers put decorations up the end of November and take them down the beginning of January.  Without the help from the many amazing volunteers this venture could not be done every year.

 In 2023, the decorations couldn’t go up due to manufacturing delays, electrical issues and damage through the years from accidents. In order to ensure our decorations are hung and lit for 2024, the Laurel Chamber needs your help. We need new electrical wiring/reconfiguration to the poles and updated decorations, which are both lighter weight and safer. We also hope to extend the coverage area to include more of the business district. 

The Laurel Chamber is a non-profit organization and we simply cannot afford this expensive endeavor. We are asking the community to help us reach our goal to keep this beloved tradition alive!
