Chico Mini Wellness Retreat

You’ll experience the incredible benefits of time and intention carved out for yourself, plus the healing benefits of beautiful scenery, connection with great people, movement & art, meditation practices, nourishing food, and healing mineral waters. We’ll dive into yoga and meditation practices, receive deep rest with live sound healing, a guided art practice, learn new Ayurvedic practices and how to apply them, and inspiring guided discussion. All Levels of experience are encouraged. Ayurveda is a science of life, meaning it is filled with practical wisdom to help you feel your vest on and off the yoga mat. Ayurveda covers everything traditional yoga does not, including food, nutrition, general exercise, skin care, mental health, emotional disposition and so much more. Together, we will learn the general principals of how Ayurveda works, followed by a in-depth look at what this means for you. We will learn and discuss your embodied constitution that is unique to you while leaving you with the understanding to implement real daily practices into your life. Join Ryan as he aids you in taking your practice off the mat to live a more balanced life.Working In: A Guided Art MeditationPainting and drawing can be a deeply enriching and nourishing practice. It involves being thoughtful and intentional, as much as it requires being unattached and receptive to impulses. Creativity requires a sense of play and wonder that opens our hearts and can teach us a lot about ourselves and our perspective of the world around us. In this workshop you will be given drawing prompts to reflect and interpret. Paints, pencils, crayons and all necessary materials will be available for you to use as we explore our inner world. We will dive in and revisit a memory that may be riddled with discomforts, shame, embarrassments and create a new perspective that allows us to forgive and let go. I hope that you walk away from this guided practice with a lighter heart and gentler perspective towards yourself, as well as with a beautiful new artwork of your very own!
